None of you are going to care much about this, but that’s okay. I need to rant about this guy I’m friends with. (He’s a ‘small doses’ kind of friend.)

He’s recently started dating a new girl who’s name he won’t say to anyone. I asked her name a couple of days ago because I realized I couldn’t properly inquire as to “How are you and _____ doing?” Because I didn’t know what the blank was. He gave me some name I’m certain is fake. He posts tons of photos from their “dates” but none of the two of them together, and he refers to her as ‘girl’. Wow, I’d actually be offended if I had been seeing a guy for a few months now and his friends didn’t even know my name (by his careful planning and choice.) 

One of his friends invited them on a double date, when “hes comfortable”…WHEN HE’S COMFORTABLE? OH JESUS….WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO JUST GOING OUT AND HAVING FUN? “Hey my friends invited us to ______ (whatever it is) Wanna go?” Why does this need to be made into some big dramatic production?! This isn’t rehab! You’re not being ‘born again’! It’s a girl, that you’re seeing. There is something wrong with you if you’re trying to keep everything a huge secret. 

So this girl never shows up in anything on his facebook. (Pictures/ she doesn’t post stuff/ doesn’t comment.) He won’t mention much about her (just that he’s going out with her on date number ___) This is really fucking weird…. right? 

All of his bullshit “waiting to be ready before we go on double dates” and “Oh, i don’t want to tell people her name. or the name of the friend whom introduced us, because you might know her” What? We’re all in our 20’s now….. What’s with all the hush hush secretive high school bullshit? You’re an idiot.
